OpenGL in various transformations are implemented through the matrix operations, specifically, is given a transformation command, this command will generate a 4 x4 order transformation matrix (object coordinates are using homogeneous coordinates of OpenGL, namely, (x, y, z, w), so all the transformation matrix with 4 x4 matrix), the current matrix and the transformation matrix multiplication, so as to generate a new current matrix. For example, for vertex coordinates v, convert command usually go out before the vertex coordinates of the command, if the current matrix of C, convert command structure matrix of the M, emit transformation after the command, the generated new current matrix for CM, this matrix and then multiplied by the vertex coordinates v, to form a new vertex coordinates CMv. The above procedure shows that the last transformation command before the vertex in the program first ACTS on top of the vertex.
