Traditional intrusion detection system adaptive difference exists in the network, such problems as lack of scalability, data overload, and the intrusion detection technology based on data mining, through the method of data mining, automatically extract intrusion detection of the knowledge from the training data and model, to solve the problems that exist in the traditional intrusion detection system. This paper presents an intrusion detection system model based on data mining and analyzes the data mining methods of several intrusion detection techniques.
