For small watershed in the calculation of design flood, peak flow are deduced with the method of reasoning formula method of Qm and tau confluence time trival, check the problem of low precision, using Newton iterative method, this method is compared with the original graphic try algorithm converges fast,, fewer iteration times and computing speed, accuracy and reliability. The calculation example shows that the flow rate of the design is calculated by simple iterative method and Newton iteration method.
